Personal data is collected and processed in compliance with the Personal Data Privacy Code (Legislative Decree n. 196 of 30th June 2003).
Further to express consent from the user, Ferro Murano will process the user’s personal data exclusively for satisfying their specific requests.
In all events, certain data regarding the user may be acquired automatically but will only be of a general nature and will not enable identifying the user. Examples of this sort of data are the type of web browser or the operating system that the user uses, and the website domain name or the advertising announcement that linked the user to the site of Ferro Murano.
While the site is being viewed, certain data could be stored as cookies or similar files. The user’s personal data will not be disseminated outside the company.
Pursuant to art. 7 of Legislative Decree n. 196/2003, users have the right:
To receive confirmation as to whether their personal data exists or not, even if they are not registered, and receive an intelligible copy of the data.
To receive indication as to where their personal data originated from, the purpose and methods for processing and the applied logic used for computer processing.
To receive details of the data processing holder, and the other persons or categories of persons that the data could be communicated to or who could learn of the data.
To update, amend or, when concerned, integrate the data.
To cancel, transform into anonymous form or block any data that are processed illegally, including those data that do not need storing for the purposes for which they were originally collected or processed.
To receive a declaration that the aforesaid operations and their content have been communicated to those parties who have received the data in any form, unless this requirement is physically impossible or requires the use of resources that are out of proportion to the right that is protected.
The person concerned also has the right to oppose all or part of the personal data processing for legitimate reasons, even if their processing is pertinent to the reason for which they were collected.

Further to requesting and obtaining authorisation from the user, the personal data may be processed by Ferro Murano for marketing, market research, after-sales services and/or sales data analysis purposes.
In this case the personal data may also be processed by the assignees and data processing operators appointed by Ferro Murano.
In the case the person concerned has granted authorisation for the aforesaid marketing purposes, the user may exercise the rights as given in article 1 at any time.
